This pot reflects Irene Entata's experience of the cattle industry in Central Australia — there are many working properties in the vicinity of Hermannsburg. Goats, featured alongside cows, are hardy animals and thrive in the near desert conditions of the area. They provide milk and meat for the workers, whereas cattle are sold for export.
