Ken Unsworth is one of Australia’s most celebrated and accomplished contemporary artists. Practising for over 60 years, his diverse artworks are both formally and conceptually ambitious, often dealing with themes of transformation, human emotion and autobiography.

Working in a wide variety of mediums throughout his career including painting and performance, sculpture and installation, Unsworth is known for his poetic tenor, with a deep awareness of life and death, the clarity of insight and the depths of darkness.
