'Richard Dunn'
COLLECTION DISPLAY
Feb 2026 -
Oct 2026
Richard Dunn (1944–2024) was an influential artist and educator, known for his rigorous intellectual approach to painting, installation and photography. Working within international contexts of abstraction, minimalism and conceptual art, his practice unites artistic and historical references to examine the social, political and economic aspects of our culture.
This Collection display brings together selected works by Dunn made during the 1980s — a time when Australian art was participating in a new era of global dialogue.
'Richard Dunn' is on display from February to October 2026 in the Watermall, QAG. To make the most of your visit, check the exhibition dates, get information on getting here and parking, and find out about Gallery accessibility.
