Junebum Park’s video works marry ideas of theatre with those of space and illusion. Everyday scenes such as parking a car are animated by Park's hands, as if the artist were a giant manipulating the world. In 1 Parking, the human traffic and potential chaos in a car park appears to be guided from above, referencing the comical distortion of urban life in the process.
