In a voiceover illustrated by family photographs, Liam O’Brien details parts of his journey from childhood to adulthood. In particular, he explains how he became intensely self-conscious and suffered a dramatic loss of confidence after breaking a tooth. Depressed and susceptible at the time, O’Brien turned to drugs and alcohol. However, his art practice, and a fondness for walking, presented him with an escape from the downward spiral, offering him time and space for contemplation.
