DRAW ALONG – BAD PORTRAITS
Virtual workshop
Tap into your creativity at home and take inspiration from artworks in QAGOMA’s Collection in this one-hour workshop hosted by artist Dr Bill Platz. No matter your skill level, this virtual workshop is for you!
Have you ever felt that you’ve made a bad drawing? Let go of your inhibitions and pre-conceived notions of what makes a drawing good or bad in this session. You’ll learn approaches to drawing from a live model, and try out a new method of composing your drawings to create your own bad portrait using simple tools you have on hand.
Materials required:
- Basic drawing supplies, paper, pencils, pens, etc.
- Scissors
- Light card or boxboard (even a box from the kitchen (cereal box) will work)
