Gabriella Bisetto is an Australian glass artist born in Griffith, New South Wales, in 1968. Now a Senior Lecturer at UniSA Creative, University of South Australia (as at 2025), Bisetto first trained at the Canberra School of Art, earning her Diploma in Visual Arts (majoring in glass) in 1992. She was employed at the JamFactory, Adelaide, as a resident designer and glass blower from 1990–92. In 2009, she received the Australia Council Rome Residency and, in 2016, was awarded the prestigious Tom Malone Glass Art Prize. An upcoming retrospective of Bisetto’s work to be held at Canberra Glassworks (November 2025 to January 2026) spans 25 years of her practice, exploring ‘the profound connection between the human body and breath through the physical act of blowing glass’.1
