John Yau, a well-known contemporary writer based in the United States, has collaborated as a poet with Max Gimblett on many occasions, resulting in works on paper which combine text and image. Zen master Sengai Gibon's symbol of the 'Universe' - triangle, square and circle - features in this collaborative drawing, along with text commencing 'I am flying ...'
