Max Gimblett was based in Brisbane for approximately five weeks in 1993 as artist in residence at the Queensland University of Technology's Tank Street studio. In the Tank Street studio a trellis fan-like shape, situated above an internal door for ventilation, features in the drawing Octopus (Brisbane), a green motif, with a red skull.
