This work centres on the life-giving powers of women. The balanced four-part composition of this work frames a female form full of vitality. The figure is divided across the two central panels, with contrasting colour schemes, and accentuated through detailed etched patterning. These techniques are used to emphasise the concept of the work – in celebrating the role of women, and the shared connection and knowledge that is passed down across generations.
