GIMBLETT, Max; Kabuki (from The New Zealand suite)

The New Zealand suite of four works (Acc. nos 2000.027.001-4) was printed with hand-cut stencils. In 1982 Max Gimblett travelled to Japan for the first time however, the work Kabuki (from 'The New Zealand suite'), with its Japanese references, precedes the trip.
