The installation Pink sofa was made especially for the 'Second Asia-Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art' at the Queensland Art Gallery in 1996 and continues the exploration of a set of themes and issues surrounding feminism that have been central to Yun Suk-nam's art practice. This working drawing sets out some of Yun Suk-nam's ideas for the installation. The preparatory work in watercolour reveals that the artist had conceptualised much of the final work in advance.
