AUSTIN, Lincoln; Double cross
Double cross 2010 comprises 86 stainless steel plates, approximately 4000 nuts and 50 linear metres of threaded rod. The work delineates cube forms but on the diagonal, so that they are defined by triangular plates. Setting triangles against squares in this way gives the sculpture a complex sense of rhythm.
