Morning ride appears to combine Kenneth Macqueen’s dual occupations of artist and farmer; however, he did not consider himself to be a horseman, preferring to work with the tractor. The rider, whose shadow is cast in the lower-right corner, is most likely his brother Jack, with whom he shared the running of the farm at Mt Emlyn on the Darling Downs.
