RISING VOICES
Exhibition story

An installation view of an architectural sculpture of a Japanese temple, which is doubled as if we can see its reflection underneath
'Rising Voices: Contemporary Art from Asia, Australia and the Pacific' is a landmark collaboration between the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), London, and the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA), Brisbane.

On display in London, 'Rising Voices' offers an unparalleled view of the Asia Pacific region’s dynamic creative landscape. Foregrounding First Nations perspectives and diverse artistic approaches, the exhibition will feature rare works by more than 40 pioneering creatives – many never before exhibited outside of the region.

‘Rising Voices’, made possible with the support of the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, is on display in the V&A’s Porter Gallery, South Kensington, until January 2027.
