INFINITY & OBLITERATION
Artwork story

An installation that represents infinity, appearing to stretch into all directions like outer space.

Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama (b.1929) is one of the most significant and influential artists working today. The Gallery has had a long working relationship with Kusama, and her installations Soul under the moon 2002, Narcissus garden 1966/2002 and The obliteration room 2002–present are among the most popular works in the QAGOMA Collection.
