‘Everyday Magic’

Talking about Robert Rauschenberg's practice, John Cage once remarked 'beauty is now underfoot wherever we take the trouble to look'. With this idea as starting point, 'Everyday Magic' draws on the Gallery's contemporary collections to focus on how everyday materials and situations can be transformed into art.

'Everyday Magic' was on display at GOMA from 7 September 2013 to 16 March 2014. This non-exhaustive resource below represents a sample of the works included in this exhibition.
